Assume I loaded an *.mp3 audio file and marked an intervall.

How can I increase the volume of this interval not by a certain dB value but by lets say 10%?

10% increase it's easy,
100 + 10 = 110%

log (110 / 100) * 20 = +0.8279 dB Mr. Green

we'll maybe add the possibility to enter percents

but keep in mind that in audio, dB are more used

this one can be useful : https://lightmachinery.com/optical-design-center/more-optical-design-tools/percentage-to-db/
