I tried it. It does not remove the vocal. I makes the entire file sound far away with echo- like intense reverb. To "undo" the change, close the file: when prompted "file has been modified save changes?" select NO.

Vocal and music are difficult to detach.

It's a difficult effect. The wavosaur vocal remover is simple.
