This program could really do with a de-clipping feature. This feature is included in the Magix Sound Editor that I used to use, and it's really useful. Where clipping occurs, the section is highlighted and the de-clip feature applied to round off the flattened peak.

a VST plugin for de-clipping must exist.
i'm not aware of any plugins that can do that, but it must exist
