| Hello, i'm trying to get my mixes nice and loud, but below 0db, everything is great, then i save as a wav file and use 'Switch Sound File Converter' to make an mp3. when i open the mp3 in wavosaur there are peaks into the RED again(over 0db). can anyone tell me how to fix this, thanks! |

Hello, encoding in mp3 doesn't preserve the dynamics

You will have to stay way lower in your master levels before conversion, if you want to stay clean from clipping with mp3. If you still want to pump up the levels, it might be better to do that after files have already been converted.
And finally, say NO to loudness wars. |
