Despite having around five copies of this encoder on my system, including one copy in d:\Progs\Wavosaur, the programme insists it is not present.

I have it as enc_lame.dll and lame_enc.dll, yet Wavosaur cannot see it.

Sad

PS: That was in Windows XP Home SP-2. I have exactly the same problem in Windows 7 Professional on a different machine, so it is the programme which is the problem and not the operating system. The Lame DLL file is in the Wavosaur directory and in C:\windows\system32 (and a few other folders).

Wrong forum?

Never mind, I'll try Wavosaur, the best free editor I think.
