Please pardon my newbieness here. Is there a way with wavosaur to take a midi drum file and split into several tracks, say bass, snare, hats, and toms or something?
I am doing a project in Reaper with ezdrummer (lite) and the outs on the vsti will not do multiouts, they are greyed out, I think because it's lite version..I would like to put the various note values on separate tracks if possible.
Thanks for any help/replies, as I am very new to this software. So new that I have only downloaded and not actually used it yet!
I have read the documentation, that about it.
I heard on the Reaper forums about this editor and thought hey, that sounds cool.
Cheers!

wavosaur can only deal with audio files, midi are pure data files containing just note information. audio players just use the note information to play the file back using a synth.

you have to do that manually in reaper. just copy the part into several midi tracks and delete all notes except one note value, that should be what you need.
