I was using Audacity and I thought the interface was a pain in the ...
The markers are easy, selecting is easy, therefore cut copy delete and paste are easy. Intuitive as heck, almost zero learning curve. Zoom is excellent. I'm just using it to tweak an mp3 here and there, but is is so exciting and there are so many plugins I might get into making music again!
