Wavosaur

When I installed Wavosaur it put a Folder on my Desktop and inside it has the Shortcut to start the Program I get this.

But it also had a fue other icons inside called

wavosaur.ini
wavosaur.cfg
wavosaur.log

If I just put the shortcut to start the program on my Desktop and got rid of all these other Icones that are in this Folder would it still work?

And what are these other Icons for??

wavosaur.ini and wavosaur.cfg are configuration files, they are used to store your settings (users preferences).
If you delete these files, the settings go back to the default values.

The .cfg and .ini file are a good way to store these informations, it avoids writing in the registry database.

You can let these files in the folder with the wavosaur executable and put the shortcut to wavosaur on the desktop.
