Hi!
I also got this problem. Only see the laptop microphone on "audio in" and not the phonic usb-soundcard/midi/mixer/digital piano :/

Just bought this phonic usb-soundcard and I've plugged in the cables from my digital piano to this usbsoundcard and from the usb-soundcard into the computer.

I have the same problem. I am trying to use line out from one computer to line in on my other computer. Both Dell Precision 370s on XP. Line out to microphone in works but the line db is too hot for the mic and I have to throttle the mic level in sound control. Even then there is a hint of distortion. Why does Waveosaur (or is it the XP?)not "see" my line in?
