Hi everyone. I am new to this site and program. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to increase the volume of a sound file? By this, I mean a file that I already have on my computer and have opened with Wavosaur.
I have done some recordings with other programs and they have turned out to be lower volume than I would like, so I would like to make some changes with this program.
Thanks! |

I am a complete newbie user with the same problem. I've tried Process | Volume | +6db, but it doesn't seem to have any effect other than putting a "Volume +6db" at the bottom of the screen and creating a .tmp file. I've even tried much larger custom values, such as 20 and 40, but the file doesn't sound any louder.
Is there something I'm supposed to do after Process | Volume | +6db to cause Wavosaur to process the file and increase its overall gain?
Thanks,
Allen |

be sure to select the part of the file you want to volumize
if you want to volumize the entire file : CTRL+A |
