Is it possible to open a 48khz-24 bit file and save it as a 44.1 16-bit file ? I am able to open a 24 bit file but I need a 16 bit 44.1 khz inorder to make cd's. Glad to see that you can now open 2gb wav files.
Thanks. |

Hello,
Yes you can save any file as 16 bits / 44100 Hz
You have to use the Bit Depth Converter and Resampling from Process menu, and set the values respectively to 16 bits and 44100 Hz. |

Do I have to select the file first , go to bit depth converter while file is selected and then use the Bit Depth Converter and Resampling from Process menu, and set the values respectively to 16 bits and 44100 Hz. and once all is done just click on the wav file and ave the file ?
Thanks |

You don't need to select the file,
bit depth and samplerate are related to the entire file.
you can choose save or save as if you don't want to overwrite the 24 bits / 48000 Hz file with the new 16 bits / 44100 Hz file |
