Hi there, I have recently used your software and it seems to have some really great features. However one thing that I really need is the ability to be able to edit the name of markers from M1, M2, M3 to something else.

This is because I am searching for some specific areas of interest in the audio file and once I find them in the audio file, I want to be able to mark them with some word (not just M1, M2 ....)

Is this possible. Please let me know.
Kind Regards
Annie

Naming and editing markers is possible, but not (yet) implemented in Wavosaur. Here's something similar already requested:

Having a marker list could be nice too. Maybe one could name/rename markers which are already set right from the list also, and jump to the specific marker spot simply by clicking the appropriate marker?

One problem with the markers, regions...any additional detail is the compatibility issue. This also could be solved if Wavosaur would have its own specific project format. Any extra stuff done within the app would then be saved as per project, while the actual audio (wave) would retain the form and features universally recognized. There is already feature request about this too.

This project file would most probably include the stuff that is already saved separately, the VST chains and presets...but could also include any and all future features devs might wanna add.
