I am VERY VERY new to this whole audio editing thing so I really need some help. I don't even think I am doing anything right. I went to a Lady GaGa concert and took some videos. The audio from the digital camera is horrible as well as the video. I am looking for something that I can use to fix it so I can actually hear and see her and it is not muffled and staticky. Help?

Unfortunately, once a sound has been recorded, if it has overloaded the mic's preamp and caused distortion / clipping, there is no was to correct that. Once you see a visual of the wave after it's been recorded like that, you'll know what we mean.

The fellows here are right. The art of good quality recording is in a good quality recording. Post you can do only so much....which, depending on a case, isn't necessarily much at all.

Whatever recording setup you are using, you'd better practise and practise getting good recordings first. Mic types, positioning, level settings etc. Once you get it going pretty clean, not any distorted overload, and not too low/noisy either, you will succeed in post processing way easier also.
