not really sure how this works. i want to remove a vocal so i can put my vocal on it. |

To remove voice audio in a mono mix is extremely hard. You can however try to minimize the volumes in those frequencies that voice audio use and then you'll have a less noticeable voice recording.
I haven't been using Wavosaur for many years(since switched to Mac)
But no matter what Audio workstation and pluggs you use. It'll still be near impossible to remove voice audio from a downmix. If you try you'll never be able to save the audio quality of the rest of the sound in the file (I.E. instruments and FX).
If it's music you are after.. try downloading karaoke tracks or maybe find a midi-file and record your own voice over that.
