The top-side ruler in Wavosaur can be currently set to "Samples", "Seconds" or "Time Format".
Many people use music programs and DAWs that render music .wav files with exact Beats Per Minute specifications. Could the Wavosaur ruler also be made settable to "Beats and Measures"? It would help with beat-accurate editing of musical samples and drum beats.
For the ruler to work, the user also needs to specify the Beats per Minute (BPM) value of the sample in the ruler, so a "Set BPM value..." command would also be needed for the ruler menu.
Snapping to Beats would also be needed for this to work well.
