I made a post on this subject but can't find it so I will try again. I am able to view tea audio graph as I playback a recording but I can't view it as it is recording. I think I should be able to do this. What am I doing wrong or what button do I need to push. Thanks for the help.

To see the input wavform, you have input oscilloscope tool: Tools->Input oscilloscope. If no signal appears click on the "Monitor input vu meter" button near record button (red circle).
