I've been looking for a decent VSTi host that is small/simple to use. I use Kristal for mixing stuff and Wavasour for sound manipulation/mastering; but it's too much just to find/make a single sound. This thing is outstanding! It's a stand alone program, EXTREMELY EASY to use, small, and straight forward.

Here are the instructions:
1) unzip it
2) copy the .exe file
3) I paste it into the same dir as the vst.dll I want to use
4) rename it
(Ex: want to use "vsti.dll"; rename savihost.exe to vsti.exe)
5) Launch and use.
I've only used it on about 5-6 different things, but it works all of them. Hope this helps others.
