How do I change volume automation and save it?

Bang to the beat drum I have been able to change the volume automation on a file, but need to save it as so that I can copy and mix voice on to it. how can I do that? Can some one help me?

hello,

do you want to save the automation curve only ? without the file ? and apply it to another file ?

when you save a file that have an automation curve, the automation curve is saved with the file, and reloaded

I am trying to save the volume waves on an instrumental song and then mix in voice over it, but when I tryed mixing it the voice is also following the volume points. is there a set by step way to do it? Or do I save the voice with its own volume points and then mix it in? Please help Exclamation

try to apply destructively the volume automation, then mix the wavs
you can always undo

Thank you for ur help Wink I actualy got it by setting the volume on each file and saving the settings then mixed them. so while voice is louder the music is lower the the music can slowly get louder after the voice. Thanks again. Okayyyyyy
