I want to do a cover for a song, but i need to cut out the vocals and I know you can do it! I just don't know how! (I am new) Please help!

And there the classic technic for removing centered mono material from stereo files that can give interesting results : select "Vocal remover" in the process menu, it performs the invert channel + mix in one operation.

Separating the vocals from the sound of instruments is difficult to achieve. But if you are talking just about cutting a portion of the music, there's a lot of tools. I used camstasia software to do it. Perhaps there's more you can explore in this forum.

Just look for a karaoke version of that song because I don't think that removing vocals is possible.
