I want to do a cover for a song, but i need to cut out the vocals and I know you can do it! I just don't know how! (I am new) Please help! |

Have a look at Kn0ck0ut http://www.freewebs.com/st3pan0va/ , you can use it with the VST rack in Wavosaur, note that we'll add some channels specific features to make the operation more easy.
You can also try the Extra Boy vocal removal VST plug-in by Elevayta , just load the VST into the rack, check "processing" and experiment with the controls in Extra Boy.
And there the classic technic for removing centered mono material from stereo files that can give interesting results : select "Vocal remover" in the process menu, it performs the invert channel + mix in one operation. |

Separating the vocals from the sound of instruments is difficult to achieve. But if you are talking just about cutting a portion of the music, there's a lot of tools. I used camstasia software to do it. Perhaps there's more you can explore in this forum. |

Just look for a karaoke version of that song because I don't think that removing vocals is possible. |
