I've tried Wavosaur but come to the conclusion that it looks better than it really is. It depends too much on plug-ins, and that damn plugin interface is just so clumsy, relying on trial and error.

I'm going to un-install it and try something else, or maybe go back to Magix Audio Editor (the one that's supplied with Magix Video Editor 15), which has so many integrated tools that plug-ins are barely needed, and at least it's possible to preview and adjust the effects before applying them. So much easier!

I would suggest the developers take a look at that to see how it should be done.

this is why we created Wavosaur
because no audio editor was able to let preview VST effect, tweak the parameters in real time, hear the sound, and then decide to apply or not the effect.

This is the core, the heart, the only reason why Wavosaur exists.

that's funny you think Wavosaur can't do that.

like any other tools it needs some times to get used to the worlflow/interface/etc...

that's why many people stick to the tools they know

I do hope you realize you're complaining about a program that is free. You are just as free to not use it and seek other options, if it doesn't please you.

I find it a great tool, especially considering the price. And the size! It starts and loads even large samples very quickly.

It seems like the OP does not have a clue what he is complaining about...typical of folks that expect everything their way!!!

Wavosaur is just as good as Audacity, and a lot faster on my machine..... Okayyyyyy
