I recommend that the program include a stereo level control.

Writing as a life-long audio professional, unlike the other requests, this one is a most basic, must-have traditional feature that the program lacks. Having to use the Windows mixer for this function is awkward.

Otherwise, I think that you have crafted a really sweet program. I especially like the level display and peak-hold indicator. Like the level control that I'm requesting, your level display is basic and it's got excellent usability.

you can display a global volume slider,

go to "View" menu and check "Output volume"
