Welcome to this forum green_thumb

If you have a stereo file, you can select
menu->process->convert to mono ->50% 50%
this will mix the left and right channel into a single mono track
The "custom" mixing is still in development

if you have two mono tracks, load them both, select one file with CTRL+A and paste it onto the second file with
menu->edit->other paste-> paste and mix

You rock. This worked.

I am officially an audio engineer now. Where can I trade in this thumb? Cool

Ok, extra question here. I figured this was similar enough to mine...
I have a wav file. Is it possible to play that file and record at the same time? Every time I try, it puts it at the end (not the main problem, since I can cut, paste mix) and changes the original file so that it's compacted (voice is higher and faster... like chipmunks!)
Any help would be great!

In The 'Options' menu you can choose 'Editor configuration'.

A dialog box appears: In 'General' part choose 'Always open new file for record'.

After recording your voices, a new file appears. Then 'Select all' or Ctrl + A and 'Paste and mix' in your original sample.

If the voices are higher and fast, change the sampling frequency of your recording or your original file. The sampling frequency of your both files must be identical.

For that choose 'Process menu' and 'Resample'.
