If you have the following message in Wavosaur:
"Unable to find vorbis.dll" inside a dialog box try this:

- Download the ogg dll decoder
you can find it over the internet, on website like this

- Unzip and place the vorbis.dll into your Wavosaur folder, or in a system folder.

- (re)Launch Wavosaur

- You can now open or import ogg vorbis audio file

Why are the dll(s) from www.rarewares.org not working?

Why are they ignoring Wavosaur? Where is the problem with integrating it into Wavosaur? REAPER for example doesn't even need any components installed by the user. Import and export is fully implemented in a REAPER DLL.

Take the easy way (used with Vista 32):

Go to: http://www.rarewares.org/files/ogg/

Download: libvorbis1.3.1.zip

Unpack libvorbis1.3.1.zip

Rename libvorbis.dll to vorbis.dll

Copy vorbis.dll to your Wavosaur Directory

That's it.

Have a nice day

Pi

Nice to know that the new version is working. Will test it soon ...

Wavosaur should be updated to search for "libvorbis.dll" filename too!

I tried that.
Wavosaur still says it cannot find orbis.dll even though it is in the folder!
