Does anyone know how to make a scream more horrifing
I uploaded some examples on the freesound page search for my username and you will find 'em then you will see what I mean. Just wait for a few days till they pass the moderator check.

Shout in a microphone! (saturation is a plus).

Yes saturation sounds good but noisy what I am talking about is something that will act directly to the subconscious, something that will ambrush with it's frequency not the noise. The person that will hear it will not have seen the white noise movie earlier. Noise will just refresh his/her memory in that case. I experiment with a slowed down and high pitched violin as a carrier for the scream but it makes it less identifiable as a human voice. Maybe I haven't find the right instrument yet. Rolling Eyes
