I wonder how to know if a given VST or VSTi, understand midi messages (Like the basics CC7 or CC10).

For instance, Addictive Drums doesnt', GAC from Kjaerhus doesn't, Plugsound seems to,.... Guitar Rig does,...

I am specially interested in a very simple plugin (vst, audio-audio) that simply understands CC7 and CC10, so just volume and control. Does that plugin exists???? If so, I could place it downstream of a vsti and take advantage of those MIDI messages, even if the vsti itself ignores them

i think only the host can convert MIDI CC to VST parameters
if a plugin can't understand directly midi CC, there's no way to make it midi CC controlable if the host doesn't make the tranlastion
