I want to create a Darth Vader type of voice. I was able to get the lower frequency voice but is was slowed down. How do I use cent or pitch to get the speed back to normal while retaining the lower pitch?
More to the point what does cent do, and what does pitch do?

Hello & welcome

The native pitch-shifting in Wavosaur allows you to change the pitch as if you speed up or down a vinyle LP. Semitone & Cents are the value of the pitch shifting (50 cents = 1/2 semitones)

If you want to change the pitch without affecting the speed you can use third party VST effect
i think about the freeware spectral monkeyage for example : http://www.wavosaur.com/vst/pitchshift-autotune-plugins.php
don't hesitate to experiment with vocoder too ! http://www.wavosaur.com/vst/vocoder-plugins.php
