Hello
I saw in the "open" menue of wavosaur also the Akai S1000 option.
I wondered if it would be possible to open an akai format sample CD. Of course it did not work as the PC doesn't recognize the CD.
Is there a way to read Akai sample CD's and to convert them to wav format?
Greetings! |

Wavoasur can't read Akai CD. I used a program to read Akai floppy disc, i think there are also software for reading CD. maybe you should check "chicken translator" |

For sample conversions you could also check out the Awave Studio. Simple looking program which does exactly what they say on the tin. Nice.
Free demo is available at

The Translator on the other hand is something I would never recommend to anybody, not after I got the full version and realized it didn't even work like the older demos! Never got it working for my needs, the support was a lying joke and even the old, half working conversions broke while they just kept adding new stuff into it. Beware  . |

Oh, sorry about the possibly misleading titles, I was talking about the Chickensys Translator. |
