|
|
Newbie question..I need to edit about 2 minutes out of an MP3. I don't want to do the mouse drag thing because I can't accurately drag to the end of the section that I need to cut. How do I place the start and edit point using the mouse without dragging, and then cut?
Also, can I set the edit points using the counter instead? That seems like it would be more accurate.
Thanks! |

Hello,
You can place "markers" on the file.
Press the "m" key on your keyboard (or right click then "create marker")
- create a marker for start
- create another marker for end
- then double click anywhere between the markers : it creates a selection.
- then you can cut.
don't forget you can zoom in (use mouse wheel) for more precision!
the value for selection start & selection end are displayed in the status bar, next to bitrate / channel / samplerate
If you want to make a selection by entering the precise values (in sample), you can use : menu-> Edit->Set selection range |
