Wavosaur

I'm very very new to the VST.. not even sure what it is.
but one day i decided to find something i can do to make fun of my teacher's long lectures..
the best way, i decided, was to "autotune" it.

turns out, wavesaur has "pitchworx DX" thing..
so i downloaded it

and ended up with a dll file.

now im stuck.

how do i open it?

how to use it will come later haha

ps. btw, wth is a VST??

Hello, welcome to the forum

pitchwork dx is a pitch shifter, not an autotune, it's also a directX effect so you need a DX-VST wrapper to use it with Wavosaur.

You'd better use an autotune plugin like gsnap or aas autotune http://www.wavosaur.com/vst/pitchshift-autotune-plugins.php

these are VST plugins and you can use it directly with Wavosaur, like this : http://www.wavosaur.com/tutorials/how-to-use-VST.php

whats a "Grymmjack skin"??

it's a skin made by Grymmjack (for oatmeal VSTi for example)

oh.. in the download, like it gave me an option for the grymmjack skin thing..

i'm having trouble with the manual..
terms like threshold doesnt' make sense to me

so it seems like mocking the teacher will wait until i find out how to use wavesaur in general first..
