Hello,
welcome to the forum
Do you want to play VST instruments ? or using MIDI CC from your digital piano (if it has some buttons/knobs/sliders to send MIDI messages) for controlling Wavosaur ? |

Thanks for getting back. I'm using a Yamaha P70 and a Yamaha Clavinova. Both are pretty basic... midi to USB interface. I use them now with PrintMusic for scoring.
I'm looking for something I can use to record piano students (input from piano), store the song (probably midi format), convert and output to CD. Whatb I'm trying to find is a program that will allow me to record music from the piano.
I hope that gives you enough to go on. Thanks again. :) |

With Wavosaur you can record the audio out, but we haven't implemented MIDI recording (we use MIDI for controlling the program : play/pause/record etc.).
I think you probably need a sequencer for this kind of job.
You can give Reaper a try http://reaper.fm/ : it's not expensive and you can try it without restriction to see if it suits your needs. |
