how do you adjust the save size of the file? i'm trying to make a ringtone and i cut a clip of song down to 20 seconds but its still 3.6 megs, which is the full size of the song and too large for my phone

Hello,

what format do you choose for your file ?
for ringtones you should use MP3 format :

file menu -> export -> export as mp3

and choose a bitrate (the lower the bitrate, the lower the size)

if you choose file menu -> save as or save, you save your file as WAV (uncompressed format)
