How does the Pitch Shift work, without it ending up like a 33rpm playing at 78

Can anyone tell me hot to change the Key or Pitch shift. I know where iot is but all I get is Higher speed like the chipmunks

Hello, you can enter a value in semintones and cents for the pitch shifting
as asked in the previous message, do you want to keep the same length ? in this case you may use VST plugins in Wavosaur for pitch shifting
