Yes we added this feature to scan a directory and all the subdirectory inside.
For that choose the directory you want to scan in menu:
Option->Editor configuration : Vst path
By default it is "c:\" it could be very long due to file number inside. Then choose the directory where your VST plugins are: for example "c:\vstplugins"
Click OK
Launch the VST rack clicking "Rack" on VST toolbar
Click on scan button
A popup windows appears to show you the directory and validate the scan.
Click OK
Wavosaur scan all the files and directory inside the path you chose.
At the end a dialog box appears to show you the VST found number.
So the VST List is updated with all the different VST found.
Choose a VST inside, and click Add button. _________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

We may add a filter to the list, to show only the VST effects.
I take notice for the next release |

in Windows 7 Home Premium using the Wavosaur SCAN button in VST RACK section it locks up or crashes and closes the Wavosaur program. I have the exact same copy same plugins and same program on my desktop PC running Windows XP home edition SP3 2002 and the SCAN button does its job fine without crashing.
is this a windows 7 problem? or a directory structure problem? or something else.
wait............
stupid me I didn't try running wavosaur in XP mode SP3 in windows 7 so it works now. |
