when i record from my microphone, and then listen to the recording, the recording has a "sss", a high-pitched noise, a sibilant noise. after having tried to solve this with the volume controls, and i made many experiences, the high-pitch sound continues. i've read that this can happen with microphone used through a preamp. i have an external sound card that works as preamp. i searched on the internet and found out that you can use a plugin called deesser. this should solve the problem. but i tried five different dessers and none of them reduced the sibilant sound. i really don't know what to do, and i've searched a lot, worked a lot on this.

Does this happen primarily on 's' sounds or is it a constant hissing noise? It might be helpful if you upload an example clip to a file host like MediaFire and post the link here.

it is a permanent hissing noise. i'd prefer not to upload the song. i'd be thankful if someone could further help.

Look into noise reduction or noise removal. See if the tutorial linked below helps. If this is a problem with all of your recordings, it'd be worth looking further into what might be the cause. As they say, "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure."
