Wavosaur

There seems to be some ability to use more than 2 channels in Wavosaur, but how to you get all the metering, etc. to show all six channels?

Also, how do you configure audio outs more than stereo.

It shows my multichannel sound card, but only gives me Left and Right as options in the audio output routing dialog (even though windows is setup as 5.1 for that driver).

Sadly, Wavosaur also crashes when I select the ASIO driver for my Focusrite Saffire pro 40.

Any tips or suggestions?

FYI I made some progress after seeing another post here about using ASIO4ALL (with which I was familiar).

Using ASIO4ALL vs. my devices native ASIO driver which was crashing wavosaur, I was able to get six channel output working.

It also gave me some six channel features in the UI, but not all, for instance I still have only two meters on the right hand side.

6 channel vst processing is working as well.

We worked on an option to display more than 2 channels for the audio vu meter. It works, but we have to make it public

Just for your info, unfortunaltely, it's not possible for Wavosaur team to test all the ASIO interfaces/drivers.
