hey guys!
many thanks for the 1.0.0.8000 update.
seems there's a problem with loading large mp3s. you get two error messages:
"Memory allocation error" and after that
"Unable to load file"
here such a file: http://www.nasdia.de/sound/mixes/OGTronic_InaMurderousStyle.mp3 (101MB)
smaller mp3s seem to load properly ...
can you fix this? would be great, as i need to edit such dj-mixes sometimes ... |

Yes Dandruff, we know this problem. We work on this subject, but the result is not yet guaranteed. This represents lot's of work (audio & display engine) and our goal of donations is not yet reached ( 7 donations for 1 year! ). _________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

yeah, ok! looks like you still (try to) load all data into ram, right? sounds like we need disk-streaming here?

You are right, disk streaming wasn't our first goal. Why not in the future!
We know your donation Thank you very much Dandruff!
It's not very difficult to memorize the name of the "numerous" donators!!! _________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hello I'm a new user of Wavosaur and I have the same problem with the bigs mp3 .
It's a pity, because I believed I found a really good alternative to "GoldWave", wich is a good soft, but too expensive (50$) for a 10 days by year use. I didn't used Wavosaur for other task yet, like simply edit little mp3 , but that software seems to be a really good one with lots of functionnalities. If I use it often, of course I'll donate.
So thank you for the work you did, and I hope you will make the possibility of edit huge mp3, wich could really make Wavosaur a "must-have" for me .
Sorry for my English, I know it's poor. |

Hello, welcome to the Wavosaur forum
The next release won't add the support for large files, for the future i can't say now. |
