These are mostly redundant of course as you can already close the windows individually.
This feature is just a work-flow improvement. I find it much faster to use an option on the file menu to either close the currently selected file or all files rather than needing to manually click the "x" on each window. |

yes it would be good
for the moment i use "CTRL + F4" to close each window, it's not yet a "close all" but it's faster than clicking the "x" !! |

Ha! Thank you for pointing that out. I looked for "close all" under the File menu. I think I am used to looking there because some programs relate "Close All" with "Save All" (Notepad++ does this). Probably better to have Close All under the Window menu since the File menu gets cluttered very easily. I bet some guy has a UX philosophy and a blog about this... _________________
