I'm getting a crash in 1.0.3.0 that I don't think was present in 1.0.1.0. Here's how I get it:
Open a wav file (I'm using 48khz 16bit mono - not sure if it makes a difference).
Select and copy a very small portion of the audio (like 1 wave shape).
Paste in new file.
Put the marker at the end of the new file.
Paste again.
(possibly repeat 2-3 times)
Crash.
Doesn't seem to happen when copying larger selections. _________________ http://www.digitalpaint.org/ - Free FPS Game

Hello & welcome
Thank you for reporting this bug
I wasn't able toi reproduce the crashes but i get strange résults when copying the smallest copiable part of a file.
We'll have a closer look at the copying process, and try to get this fixed! |

Yes it's a "strange" and unknown bug. Thanks. _________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Firstly, I'd like to say thanks for providing such a useful tool!
So, I've encounted this bug as well (v1.0.5.0). It's minor to me but here's some more info in case it's useful.
Here's the process I'm going through:
1. Copying all
2. Zooming out by time
3. Move cursor to end of track
3. Pasting at end of the track
I get a dialog with:
Clipboard channel number: 2
Unable to paste data
And fwiw, after also getting a dialog with "memory allocation error" just before the above, I looked at task manager and noticed a large amount of memory used (1gb+). |
