Hello Rex,

The KarmaFX Synth Modular 0.98 BETA is a VST http://www.karmafx.net and does not appear to be working, not sure if it needs a Virtual Midi Keyboard VST plug in order to work properly.

If you know of a free Virtual Midi Keyboard VST, please provide the link and I'll download it and try the KarmaFX Synth Modular VST again.

Hi AorphiA,

KarmaFX is a really good plugin : the primary goal of KarmaFX is to build a modular synth, it's a VSTi, and Wavosaur don't handle VSTinstrument

But KarmaFX come as a VST FX too (there are two dll), and you can use it in Wavosaur to build custom effects based on KarmaFX internal modules :

- Load KarmaFX Synth FX dll (and not KarmaFX Synth)
- Open KarmaFX GUI, right-click in the GUI -->new patch--> empty patch
- right-click in the GUI -->add component--> generator --> input
- right-click in the GUI -->add component--> effect --> reverb
- now connect the input to the reverb and the revern to the output (with CTRL+Click on the modules you want to connect, hold the CTRL key and drag the mouse from the source to the destination)

It works for me, of course you can insert all kind of effect and do all kind of routing within KarmaFX, be sure to use the FX version !
