White noise is a signal which allow you to test filters. It's a random signal which have constant spectrum: all frequencies are represented.
Try with Wavosaur to generate white noise with synthesis tool. After that apply effect (VST low pass filter for example). After this, visualize the spectrum with frequency editor.
