Hi,
I need to edit L or R sides of a wav file independently,
at the moment I can only select stereo.

You can select/deselect channel, only the selected channels are processed.
You can't do independant time-destructive editing on a single channel but all other operations are independants (normalize, mute, VST effects, etc..)

Use the "1" key for selecting/desecting left channel and the "2" key for the right channel (not the numpad keys).

A selection will look like this :

Works good, but why use the keyboard to select L or R,
when the same could be done with only using the mouse ?

Its all about the workflow
and please keep in mind, some people cant use a keyboard physically.
