Welcome Villab0y

It's surely because the program (Wavosaur.exe) is stored on your dektop.
The files you see are temporary files and are deleted when quiting the program because no longer required.

for future versions we will let the user choose a prefered folder for these temporary files.

The best thing to do is to create a folder (you can name it "Wavosaur") and put the Wavosaur.exe in. Then create a shortcut on your desktop.

i think you can achieve that with the "copy" and the "paste & mix" functions.
But maybe it would be easier to use a combination sequencer + Wavosaur,
I think about "Kristal audio" for example, where you can set Wavosaur as external editor and use the samples to make a mix very quickly.
