Hello. I'm new to Wavosaur so I'm not sure if this is a bug or is working as intended.

First I make a selection, then I use "Process / Pitch Shift / Simple". I expected the pitch shift to act on the selection but it acts on the whole file instead.

If possible, a keyboard shortcut would be nice too. Very Happy

Thanks.

Hello, and welcome ! Mr. Green

Yes for the moment the internal pitch shift applies on all the file.
You can use a VST plugin for pitch shift (VST effects are applied on the selection)

here's some pitch shift plugins (free !) => http://www.wavosaur.com/vst/pitchshift-autotune-plugins.php

Thanks for the reply.

For my project I needed a simple "tape" style pitch shift. I don't want the effects of FFT or windowing. No biggie, I did it in Cubase instead. But if it would be possible to implement in Wavosaur some day, that would be neat.

But the plugins you linked looks interesting for other things. Thanks. Very Happy
