Hello friends. Long time Wavosaur user on my previous computer (XP pro). I use it with my Delta 1010LT sound card via ASIO. I have several audio files I have limited (using Sonnex Limiter VST) in wavosaur. I know these files do not peak or have any audible distortion since I spent a lot of time getting the limiting perfect. I also verified via Adobe Audition that there's no peaks (0). I recently bought a new computer with Windows 7 and downloaded the latest vsn of Wavosaur. Now when I playback my older wav files, they all show multiple peaks and sound distorted - but only in Wavosaur (no distortion or peaks when the same files are played in Adobe Audition). My buffer size is more than sufficient.
Why would this be? Is there a bug using Wavosaur with Windows 7?
Please advise asap. Thanks! |
