OK, another question. If I want to add effects to just the selected part of the wave and before and after be just like it is, how do I do that? When I select a region and apply effects it applies it to the whole wave. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Missing a step somewhere? Thanks!

It's very easy: select the region with mouse in your wav.
Click on 'Apply' button.
