Assume I loaded a *.mp3 into Wavosaur.

How can I increase resp. decrease the current volume by lets say 15%

Hello,

you have to enter the volume increase / decrease in dB

+15% is like multiplying by 1.15
in dB you have
20 x log (1.15) = + 1.21 dB

-15 % is like multiplying by 0.85
in dB you have :
20 x log (0.85) = - 1.41 dB

Ok, thank you.

But instead having always to calculate the dB equivalent I prefer to enter the percentage value.

Is there somewhere an official feature request ticket/email address for the next release?
