I would like to make a wave file using independent single samples, then develop a loop at a certain BMP. Is there a method or program that will show main and intermediary beats in a template for 84 BPM or 96 BPM etc? |

If I chose a set of drum sounds that are just independent samples ie a kick that I like - is there a program that will allow me to form a complete measure of all the drum sounds that I want , in order to create a loop at any BPM.
I've done this w/midi by using a loop. But- but then transferring it to a different time base makes sync difficult. I am trying this demo called Algorhythmia by Zeta Centauri that may be the solution. Just wondering what sample buffs here might do. |

typically sequencers are used to build loops. but you could use the grid option for the selection in wavosaur to see where to put transients in order to create a looped beat.
alternatively (or additionally) you should have a look at recycle.
to have loops play at different bpms without changing pitch and to warp loops to different time signatures you should have a look at ableton live. _________________ ThinkPad T500,Core 2 Duo T9600 (2x2,8GHz)/3GB RAM/Radeon HD3650/FireWire 410/WinXP SP3 32bit

thanks R.A.W.
good information. Too many toys - not enough time to learn them all.
Appreciate your input.
