Just been playing with this feature, very handy.
How about another option: I think it would be useful to be able to simply add a number of markers to chop a wave (or selection) up into equal slices for some rudimentary beatslicing duties. Not tied to BPM or anything clever (I often just mess about with bits of audio, no idea of measures or tempo... :))

You have the "Set marker as grid line" option in the Tools->Markers menu.
To change the grid line number, open cfg file and choose :
SelectionGridLineNumber
4
You can modify this parameter. You must relaunch Wavosaur after this change.
In next release this parameter will be configurable directly during use. _________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

sorry, missed your reply.
Ok, just tried this in 1.0.0,8; perfect! Exactly what I had in mind.
Changing the number of markers works ok, just wondering if there's a simpler/quicker way..? Maybe not worth worrying about too much at the moment, I'm sure you've other things you'd rather be concentrating on.
Thanks!
Gary. |
