				| I have a 45 minute interview I recorded on a digital voice recorder. I want to crop out "sound bites."
When I load the file into wavosaur (I have converted the file to MP3 from WMA), I only can see and hear about 18 minutes of the recording.

How do I get the entire interview to load and be editable?

I have tried reducing the bit rate in the conversion, but that resulted in even fewer minutes being accessible.

Help! I have a presentation this week and need my sound bites.

				| There's an identified problem with some mp3's, although it is rare it can happen. You should try to convert from the WMA to WAV file, 16 bits - 22050 Hz should be a sufficient quality for the voice in an interview. And the file won't be too large and can be loaded in Wavosaur for editing

				| Thanks!
 That did the trick.

If it helps, I used Media Monkey to convert the WMA file to the MP3 file that did not work properly.

The WMA file was created with an Olympus WS-100 digital voice recorder.
