Here's a non exhaustive list of some bugs, non implemented features, features we are working on etc.

- Recording is stereo by default.

- Undo is not working on "resample with only change the samplerate w/o processing"

We'll add redo and repeat features in the todo list, but it's not planned for soon.

when recording wavosaur is very unresponsive here (16bit, 96000hz)!? after some small recordings wavosaur uses over 500MB memory (taskmanager) here! does it record to the ram? other applications don't hit my system that hard (they respond immediately when trying to stop the recording and so on) ...

At the moment it is not recommended to make long recording.

Streaming to disk engine, like ASIO support, are things that will require a lot of time and work, and are not planned for soon, and could even never be coded depending on the main coder and the feedback the project receives.

About the unresponsive behaviour, maybe increasing the buffer size for the recording could help.

mmh, i didn't do long recordings. just wanted to try it and imediately noticed this misbehaviour. this also has nothing to to with asio. asio is just a different communication to the driver/card (perfect 1:1 playback and to achive lower latency). in cool edit pro i've recorded with mme-drivers (because it doesn't has asio support too) and never got such behaviour.

buffersize = 1024 samples

Hi
Here are some suggestions for features i'd like to be able to play with in the next versions of Wavosaur, one of these days... Wink

- VUmeters : indeed, as written above, much needed (mainly for recording) ...

- direct monitoring = hearing what you record when you're recording it !

- a quicker access to VST plugins : with one single click we should be able to open a vst and see its GUI.( It takes 5 or 6+ clicks at the moment) ;

- no playback speed problems, whatever you have set in the audio settings ;

- enveloppes for VST plugins ;

- an option to make reverb tails end up AFTER the slection ;

acidifying files (setting up number of bars, original tempo, key...)

- user friendly skin editor + themeable interface ;

- spectral editing / noise reduction efx (this one may be a big work... maybe dedicated plugins would be better ?)

Thanks
& Keep up the good work !
